I've been intrigued by this double roller drum sander. Haven't read/heard anything but looks interesting.

Don't waste your money on these, P.O.S. machines.. I learned the hard way on this machine a few years ago.
Grizzly wide belt sanders are Ok, but not the drum sanders... very poor machines.

"Doug, I am curious. It's probably just an American English versus U.K. English thing but when does a motorbike become a scooter or vice versa? You scooter would be a motorbike or a chopper over here."

"Scoot" or "scooter" can refer to just about any motorbike. In the industry it does usually refer to a step through motorbike, but many enthusiasts refer to their machines of whatever the design as "scoots".
"Thumpers" are usually single cylinder bikes like some of the old Nortons.

I don't even know what that is! Pray do tell.

Apologies Doug, a Ducati 1098 and "thumpers" (since I was a kid) cos they thump, like Harleys are called potatoes cos that's the noise they make at idle.

How's this for a sweet find? $400 on Kijiji!
All from selling the bike.

Are you going to use wood putty to fill all of those darned holes, Doug? laughing6-hehe
That's a real steal. The vise is worth more than $200 by itself. Looks like lots of nice tools for sale in Alberta, while Ontario has the corner on used Black & Decker junk.

Lots of good deals if a person is willing to drive a few hours out of the city to pick it up. I had no trouble driving a few hours to buy a bench worth $1500 at Lee Valley, in brand new condition for $400. My current, 20 year old bench top was falling apart. I'm always surprised by how few city slickers are willing to drive out of the city limits. It's like the world ends in the rural area until the next city comes along. Oh well, I'm happy to gain from it.

Sweet!!!
I really like the idea of a central bench vs. one against the wall, with all sorts of pointy tools on a pegboard, ready to inflict unspeakable horror on a nearly finished project....

Robbie - I bought this in Drayton Valley, from a sweet old couple moving to your town of Cochrane. I was up in Edmonton for business anyway so wasn't far out of my way.
